Community Health Ministry: The Community Health Ministry serves as a central Hub for the Wamego Community. We also serve all of Pottawatomie and Wabaunsee Counties. We have Medical and Dental Clinics, Family Counseling, and help with Prescription Medical Assistance. The Community Health Ministry encourages each individual's physical, emotional, spiritual, and social well being in the context of their relationship to God, family, and neighbor. This ministry seeks to develop creative ways of addressing needs and identifying resources to promote health, wellness and healing. At Community Health Ministry we want to help you when you are in need. We want to provide this area with quality assistance and care, and give people a place to go where they know they will be welcomed and receive good support. Following Jesus' teaching involves meeting people where they are and providing for their needs: feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, welcoming the stranger, clothing the naked, comforting the sick and visiting the imprisoned. Matthew 25:35-39: "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?"
