At Community Health Ministry we have much to offer to numerous
groups and individuals:
To the Congregation and Community:
 | Assisting Communities and Churches to establish Health and Wellness boards |
| Raising awareness of the congregation to its effect on the spiritual,
relational, emotional,
and physical health of individuals |
| Coordinating health education and training through displays, exhibits,
classes and
support groups |
| Training, supporting and supervising volunteers in caring ministry |
| Fostering, acceptance and caring for people of cultural diversity and
special needs |
| Referral to jobs of underemployed |
| Serving on boards and committees of health care agencies on behalf of the
congregation |
To the Pastor:
| Demonstrating publicly, the healing ministry of Jesus |
| Introducing wellness programs in support of the pastor's ministry of
Christian growth |
| Serving as a team member with the pastor to effectively minister to the
whole person |
| Collaborating in making health assessments, when indicated |
| On referral from the pastor supplementing his ministry to individuals |
| Creating pastoral awareness of resources in the community |
To the Health Ministry Board:
Initiate congregational responses to the community utilizing
